I have an appt with Becky from A-zip today at 11am! we r doing my 18 month adjusted age questionairre.

So we arrived in the wee hours to Grandma Debs in Camino Ca and slept for awhile and then got up and enjoyed our time with her for her birthday and early Christmas celebration!
We headed out in the late afternoon for the dreaded long car trip all the way home to Lake Havasu a 10.5 hour drive home....we took the 395...we made it about 5 hours into the trip and hit a huge snow storm in some rinky dink little town in the middle of nowhere that happend to have a hotel at least so we got a room for the night..It snowed all night long......
The next morning Monday morning we got up it had stopped snowing and headed for home once again!

Happy 7th Birthday to my sister Burgandy!
Today is the Annual Paul Christmas Party in Fresno, so we got up early got ready and headed to Fresno so the festivities could begin!
After the Christmas Party we left about 8:30pm to head to Grandmas Deb's in Camino CA so we could spend the day tommorrow with her for her birthday and also celebrate an early Christmas with her. we arrived about 12:30am technically Sunday morning........

Today we celebrated Burg's 7th birthday in Santa Cruz at the Beach Boardwalk....We played on the beach, had lunch, bowled, played arcade games.....It was such a fun day!
It was my first time at the Beach, the sand was mighty tasty! :D

Arrived in the wee hours in Freedom Ca which is where Uncle Michael and Kristin live.....Spent the day visiting, relaxing and resting from the long trip! Auntie Danielle came over for dinner, along with Uncle Michael's friend Scott.

Trip to Ca today.....to spend a couple days in Santa Cruz visiting with Uncle Michael, Kristin, Auntie Danielle, and Uncle Manny....Then on Saturday to Fresno for the Annual Paul family Christmas Party....and then Saturday night head to Grandma deb's in Camino CA to spend Sunday with her for her birthday and for an early christmas with her as well....What an adventure this will be!

Becky from Milemarkers/Occupational Therapy came today for my appt at 10:45. We reviewed my 16 month adjusted age questionaire which I am actually 16.5 months adjusted age but they dont have a form for that age... along with my 18 month adjusted age questionaire which I havent reached yet.....I will be 19 months true age tommorrow..So next month we will review the 18 month questionaire again. By the next appt I will be 20 months true age and 17.5 months adjusted age....only 5 more months and we will be able to just go off of my actual age and no more of the adjusted age it stops at 2 years! yey!
Becky is very impressed with my progress and how well I am doing! We will continue to keep working with my speech... 250 word vocabulary by my 2nd birthday is a long way to go..........I sure have come a long way!

Tata and Damian are coming today! They will be here around 12 noon! It will be a short visit just for today and they will leave tommorrow afternoon but I am so excited!
We went to dinner at Daddy's work with Tata, Damian, and Grandma Sandy...Kayla and Mitch met us there on their way to the Homecoming Dance!

Today I went to the London Bridge Parade...Burgandy was walking in it with her girl scouts troop........

Mommy snapped some pictures of me sleeping so soundly in my new bed! another milestone bites the dust! no more ba-ba and no more crib all within a few weeks of each other! I am a big boy now! next step potty-training....look out!
So my first night in my new big boy toddler bed was a success....I even slept in and then woke up and because it is so comfy fell back asleep! LOL.....I bet mommy and daddy enjoyed that!

Today is Eme's 5th Birthday! I love my big sister!
We did breakfast and presents before mommy had to go to work and then me, daddy, burgy and eme went and played frisbee golf, and then later daddy had to go to work... and me, mommy, burgy, and eme met with grandma Sandy, grandpa Don and Kayla and also Mitch and his mom Deb at dinner for Eme's birthday dinner.....We went to daddy's work that is where Eme wanted to go! :D

Columbus Day!
I have an appt with Becky from Azip and Katie my occupational Therapist this morning @ 8am....mommy has to work so daddy will be here at the house with me.....Becky is doing my 16 month adjusted age questionaire and katie will work with me for some therapy....Katie wants me to have a 250 word vocabualry by my 2nd birthday!

Tonight @ 7pm is Senior night for Kayla at the Telesis Football game....During halftime she will be announced with us her family and we are walking her off the field... me, mommy, burgy, & Eme.

I am 17 months old today! By weeks I am 74 weeks old......
Becky came this morning at 8am for my monthly evaluation with mile marker therapy to see where I am at milestone wise....my adjusted age is 15 months and they will continue to use this until I am 2 years of age....so we re-did my 14 month eval to see if I was doing what I wasnt quite doing last evaluation and we also did the 16 month eval to see if I was already doing some of the milestones listed on it....overall I did really well some areas are of concern but expected do to being 10 weeks early.....Becky is concerned in some areas but we will continue to work on those areas.............

Asher had his Occupational Therapy with katie this morning @ 8am, she brought along Becky this morning who will be coming once a month now to do Asher's assessments....Katie will be only coming once every 3 months now. We will start up this schedule starting on August 2 2010 that way we are around Asher's birthday and we can track and follow his milestones correctly through his adjusted and corrected age...Asher will be 16 months when Becky comes on the 2nd!

Asher had his 15 month checkup today @ 11am with Dr. Oyas and only had to get 2 shots.........he is still behind in his growth curve on weight compared to other 15 month olds but Ash is setting his own curve since he was 10 weeks early....his height is catching up because he is getting tall and skinny..and his head circumference is right on....The Dr. is finally taking him off the enfacare formula and he will get only whole milk in his bottle at night.....:D the thing is he's not real big on milk we will see what happens.....he will have to go back in to do a weight check between now and his next appt in Oct. to look at him though you wouldnt know he was behind in weight he has chubby cheeks and rolls....super cute I might add.......:d

This is how Asher eats Lasagna in our house! :DAsher has Occupational Therapy with Katie @ 8am............
Well katie came, and she is still going to keep Asher @ just once a month that she sees him until the next appt then we will go from there depending on how he is doing with the walking stage.....Asher is 14.5 months but technically by adjusted age he is only 12 months old..so there is a little concern on his delayed walking but not too much quite yet....There is some concern with Katie as well as Dr. T with his speech and the lack of it..so katie is having us do some things to focus on these areas, but she feels until he masters walking we shouldnt look to much at his language area....if there stays with some concern with Katie in his next session she will invite the speech therapist to his following appt....so we will just have to see what happens....until then we will work on certain areas to encourage his speech......

Before Asher's appt with Dr T. his nuerologist we went to the park in Flagstaff! we have come to love this park, now it is somewhere we frequent everytime we are here.........Do you see the GREEN grass..not very common in Az the desert...Asher isn't sure what to expect or what he thinks of it......

Asher's appt was changed to 1pm so we wouldn't have to leave so early in order to be there for the original appt at 8:30 am.
So Asher's appt was a success! Dr. T says he is doing amazing...(as a mom just what i wanted to hear) he is somewhat concerned about his speech being delayed, so he wants to get him speech therapy...along with continuing his physical occupational therapy......Asher's head circumference is up to date with his age but he is still behind on weight and height....but we knew that...from his pediatrician..but I have no idea how my little guy can still be behind on weight when all he does is eat, eat, eat! hahhahaha. But like Dr. T said with him being 10 weeks early he will be somewhat behind at least until possibly his 2nd birthday when he may catch up!.... Dr T wants to see Asher again in 6 months so we can see where he is at then and if any delays in any developments.....A lot of delays may not even begin to show up until his 2nd birthday. That is when we will do another MRI test to determine the outcome of his bleeding on his brain. So still playing the good ol waiting game, but glad to hear my little guy is doing well for now! :D
