Asher has been home with us from the hospital for 7 months and 2 weeks today!

So Deanna, Danielle, & Damian headed out around 8:30am our time to drive a 10.5 hour drive to see their mom and grandma up by Placerville.

Once they left it was on to get this house back in order from the Holiday! Took down the tree and decorations and started cleaning it could take awhile...I have no clue where to put all these new gifts...hahahhaha :D

Unfortunately At the moment I am without a camera..a couple days before Christmas Burgandy was trying to show me a picture she took with my camera and there was an acccidental spillage with the camera on the kitchen floor and it busted my lens and the camera is broke! I am so very very sad abotu this but things happen! :( I will post pictures as soon as I get another camera) I am so sad that I have no documentation of Asher's 1st Christmas! I tried taking some pictures with my cellphone but they print out crappy...And we also took some pictures with Burgandy's Fisher Price camera but again not very good quality.....

Deanna, Danielle & Damian(Mark's sisters and Nephew) are on thier way to see us today!

It will be very nice to see them we havent seen them since Asher's Welcome Home Party in June....6 months its been.....Asher has gotten so big since they saw him last! :D

They are just staying the night and then heading to see Mark's Mom up by Placerville...So a quick trip, sad about that but at least we get to see them...We will exchange our Christmas with them and vice versa....


They got here around 1pm our time noon Ca time...And we had lunch (pizza & garlic bread)...Then we did gifts after lunch....tons more presents.......Played games, played with presents, visited, had a great time..Had a great dinner barbequed some london broils with crescent rolls, green beans and mashed potatoes...Us adults were up til the wee hours of the morning playing Scene it and some other games.and of course having some adult beverages....fun times lots of laughs.....:D

Today is Christmas Eve! Asher's first Christmas Eve...We are celebrating our Christmas today...Actually this evening. My Mom, Dad, and Kayla's Dad Jarrod will be joining us ( Me, Mark, Kayla, Burgandy, Emerald, And Asher) for Christmas Eve Snack fest, and gift opening from them and Mommy and Daddy! Everyone should arrive around 5pm. I have to work all day on christmas Day so this is why we decided to celebrate today and then the kiddos will open from Santa in the morning....:D

I cant believe it is already Christmas time is flew by so fast this year!

It is so exciting that it is Asher's 1st Christmas! :D

So much food and Desserts....yummy........

And tons of presents! :D

Everyone opened all their gifts except for Me and Mark our exchange for each other we waited till everyone was gone and the kiddos were all nestled snug in thier beds.....then we opened gifts from each other...I think everyone had a very good Christmas this year!

We took Asher and the girls to see Santa today @ 11am. Asher's first visit with Santa...All went well! took a great picture..I will post as soon as I get a chance.....

Asher has been home with us from the hospital for 7 months today!


He has a little bit of a cold.....but still in good spirits...

He is getting in his fang teeth they have popped through but not all the way yet..so on his way to 6 teeth!

Asher had his appt this morning @ 10:30 with Sara from early intervention and Katie the occupational Therapist....While we waited on Katie to arrive Sara went over his evalution that she had done on him last visit, he scored very well in all areas for his age level. Once Katie arrived she looked him over and did some activities with him on the floor such as rolling over, and row row row your boat into sitting position, and also teaching us some exercises we can do with him in between his visits with her which will be every two weeks. His first appt after this one due to the holidays wont be until ater the 1st of January...But we have set lots of goals that we hope to see him accomplish with the occupational Therapist. I am loking forward to working with Katie and hoping to see some progress with Asher to help his stiffness and with his sitting up, and once that is achieved on to crawling and eventually walking.....It will be a long haul. but well worth it and we are very dedicated to helping Asher achieve Success! :D


Asher went to his first Highschool Basketball game tonight at Daytona Kayla had her first home game @ 7pm. He loved it.......

Asher is 36 weeks old today!

Asher got in his two front teeth so I guess Asher got his two front teeth a little early like the song all I want for christmas is my two front teeth...hehehhehehehe

So in total now he has 4 teeth two on bottom on two on top!

Today Asher is 35 weeks old

Today is also Asher's Big sister Burgandy's 6th B-day!

This morning we headed out on Asher's first big car trip except for traveling to Phoenix for his doctors appts which is 3 hours, and 2.5 to Flaggstaff. This trip was 5.5 to Fresno CA. We picked up the rental car @ 8am and then switched vehicles and loaded up the car and started off on our journey....The whole fam all except for Kayla who had to stay for school on friday...

Sara from Early Development came back this morning @ 10:30 for Asher's Screening assessment testing and questionaire paperwork, she asked a series of about 100 questions and they rate them on a point system, whether or not he has done, is doing, or hasnt done any of the milestones yet....She will go back to the office and tally up for scoring and write up Asher's milestone report...They will follow up with us on what comes next, they will either reccomend him to stay with Early intervention, or DDD or Ocupational therapy...She is going to let us know as soon as the report is finished and also once she receives all his medical records from Phoenix Childrens hospital....More waiting! :D

Sara from Early Intervention came to the house this morning to meet with Asher to see where he is at with his milestones so that we can get him started with some occupational Therapy....She will be back next Friday the 13th at 10:30 am to do a development screening on him......Constantly some kind of appt for him..I guess thats just how its going to be.....

Ashers two teeth arent they so cute! :D

Asher has been home from the hospital for 5 months and 2 weeks today!

He has his first tooth! his bottom right front has popped through, and the one right next to it is on its way, he is also getting on his top front teeth but they are just starting to see the whites...poor little guy, is constantly drooling and teething and in pain.....:( hopefully they will pop through soon!

He has been eating all kinds now, banana's, peas, carrots, green beans, pears, applesauce, peaches, apple strawberry banana, baby cereal rice, and oatmeal..he loves to eat :D still not too fond of carrots.......

Today is Asher's 1st Halloween!

He is being a dinosaur....(ferocious)

In Havasu they do a safe and sane Halloween activities event starting at 6pm and going all night on the Main street here in town so we all went to this and had a blast! Asher loved all the lights and the costumes.....:D
