Asher had his 6 month checkup today! he got 6 shots....ouchhhhhh! he cried a lot! :( he weighs 14 lbs. and 23 inches in length...he is above average with his head circumference, and slowly getting up there in his weight and height category but hey with him being 10 weeks early his pediatrician says he is doing great!

he is able to start eating all baby food in the first stage and also introducing water in a sippy cup! yey...he is so over just the bottle he wants so much more.....

they looked him over thouroughly and said he looks really good..he starts his physical therapy on the 30th in Flagstaff so hopefully they can tell us some good news about his milestones and delays...he doesnt have to go back to the pediatrician till January 0f 2010 unless he gets sick or something....So 3 months of no shots or pediatricians at least!~ wish I could say no doctors at all but there are plenty of those to come his way!

Asher is 27 weeks old today!

His morning feed at 9am we started him on food...The formula with cereal just doesnt seem to be doing it for him completely...His pediatrician and nutritionist are saying different things, the nutritionist wants us to wait to start feeding him till 8 months and his pediatrician says 6 months...so since he has his 6 month checkup on the 13th of this month and he already is 6 months old we went ahead and started him eating food! yey....

Asher loved it :D.......he kept wanting more...Green Beans......we started veggies first so that he will eat them before introducing him to the fruits......

I dont understand why we had to wait anyway just because he was a preemie and 10 weeks early..when he is hungry he is hungry...why should age matter..all babies are different and my little man wants some FOOD! they say it has to do with food allergies..so we will see what happens!

Asher is 6 months old today! my little man is growing so fast! so hard to believe he has already been with us for 6 months.....I am so blessed to have him....He is such a great baby, very peaceful, and has such a great personality!
